Membership

The Cerebral Palsy Society of New Zealand Inc’s purpose is to enhance the lives and well-being of people with Cerebral Palsy.

Cost

Membership is $10 per year.
* Memberships run until the end of June, however new membership approvals in April-June run through to the end of the following June.

What You Get

  • Two issues of the Society’s publication The Review annually to keep you up-to-date with the latest news
  • Members with Cerebral Palsy are eligible to apply for grants funded by the Society. The applications for grants are considered on a monthly basis by the Grants Committee
  • Members with Cerebral Palsy are eligible to benefit from any of the funding programmes that the Society runs (e.g. getOutThere, getThis&That, getOnYourTrike, getStructured, etc)
  • Subsidised entry to all social and sporting functions run by the Society
  • Our freephone service (0800 503 603) is open Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 5pm, for information, advice and support on all aspects of Cerebral Palsy.

How to become a new member of the Cerebral Palsy Society

  1. If you would like to become a NEW member of the Cerebral Palsy Society please complete the online application HERE or DOWNLOAD the Membership Application Form.

  2. Please pay the $10 membership fee to the Cerebral Palsy Society’s bank account 12-3011-0809757-00. In the particulars, please put the first and last name of the person with Cerebral Palsy, and the words “new member”.
    You may join for up to four years in advance. Please pay the annual amount multiplied by the number of years you have chosen.
    PLEASE NOTE: The Cerebral Palsy Society does not accept cash payment – please do not put cash in the post. 
  3. Once your membership form AND payment has been received the application will go to the Board for approval.
  4. Once the Board approves a new membership, we will notify you via email and arrange for your e-card to be sent out to you. 

NOTES:

  • All new Membership Applications must be approved by the CP Society Board. Applicants will be advised of the outcome following the next monthly Board meeting.

How to Renew Your Membership

To renew your membership, please send us an email, or phone us on 0800 503 603.

The membership fee can be paid online with a credit card through the membership dashboard on this website, once you have logged in.
