You may be aware that the Ministry has been working on a Guidance document for Disability Support Services providers that has a focus on safeguarding for disabled people who receive support in their services. The Ministry of Health along with providers, have a duty of care to ensure that any actions or lack of actions do not cause injury or harm to disabled people that they support. The Ministry request feedback from you to ensure these guidelines are being followed.
