An Expo To Make Life Easier
This year’s Expo has a unique twist to it as its offering half hour workshop sessions into developments and advances in a variety of fields.
The most interesting workshop, to our members, would be the sessions hosted by Enable New Zealand which offers advice to individual regions. For instance in Hamilton it will give EMS Advice and discuss the prioritisation tool. In Palmerston North the topics are how to access funding for pressure care equipment, clinical reasoning using the clinical practice guidelines for assessment and prevention and management of pressure injuries.
In Christchurch discussion will centre around the benefits and challenges of the Canterbury Lifelong Design Advisory Service for residents in the Canterbury Region and in Dunedin the use of lying supports for clients with cerebral palsy and multiple sclerosis will be demonstrated using case studies, including the evidence base, international classification of function and equipment solutions.
There is no need to register as entry is free and so is the parking. So put the appropriate date in your calendar to attend this absorbing day out
