There is a new exciting social space website " MyKind ” for New Zealanders where diversity and disability are celebrated as the ‘norm’.

It is an easy-to-use website for people looking to meet others for chatting, friendship, match-making or dating. MyKind is inclusive, welcoming and kinder than mainstream social websites. It’s all about you as aperson, and your aspirations for the kind of relationship or friendship that works for you.

It was designed by Kiwis with disabilities or people working in not-for-profit disability organisations as a social community for single adults aged 18+ with or without disabilities/health impairments.

MyKind aim to foster a Kiwi social community for single adults aged 18-plus, with or without disabilities or health impairments. However, MyKind is not just a dating website. We provide the tools to start the journey from chatting, blogging and friendships, right through to the romance of giving virtual gifts and winks. If you go on to date, that’s great! It’s an inclusive place to make friends too, if that’s all you’re after. We also offer MyMatch – a matchmaking service where a human (not a computer) matches your profile to ‘like minds’.

MyKind will also be giving back to New Zealand’s disability sector, with a donation and sponsorship programme to support individuals, families of people with disabilities, and not-for-profit organisations in the disability sector.
